Endacopia Puzzles — Hints & Solutions

Stuck on an Endacopia puzzle? Hint-first solutions — starting with the Telescope puzzle — read one level at a time, from gentle nudge to full step-by-step answer.

Endacopia's puzzles are surreal but fair: every solution is derivable from clues the game shows you earlier. That's why this page never leads with the answer. Each puzzle below uses three escalating levels — a nudge (no spoiler), a half-spoiler (what kind of thing to do), and the full solution. Stop reading the moment something clicks; most players only need level one or two.

Universal Puzzle-Solving Rules

Telescope Puzzle — Where to Use It

The most-searched puzzle in the game. The telescope only shows something useful at the right spot and at night, and the game never explains either condition.

⚠️ Level 1 — Nudge (safe)

The answer isn't at the telescope — it's written somewhere you've almost certainly walked past already. Somewhere with bars. And whatever you're trying to see, the sky has to be different when you see it.

⚠️ Level 2 — Half-spoiler

Read the walls of the jail — the puzzle's instructions are literally written there. You'll need to make it night (you can force this by entering and exiting the jail), get past the guard while it's dark, and use the eye scanner before the telescope will show anything.

⚠️ Level 3 — Full solution
  1. Go to the jail and read the writing on the prison walls — that's the puzzle's instruction sheet.
  2. Enter and exit the jail repeatedly until the sky flips to night.
  3. At night, sneak past the pig and use the eye scanner.
  4. Use the telescope at the small shed by the cliff — it finally shows what the wall was pointing at.
  5. If you hit the switch bank in this stretch: everything off except the yellow switch.

Full context and where this fits in the route: see Chapter 1 of the walkthrough.

Timesville Clock Puzzles

Most of Chapter 2's puzzles are really one puzzle: the town clock. Six intervals — three day, three dusk — and time moves one interval counter-clockwise every time you enter a building. Entering advances time; exiting doesn't. Once you internalize that, "this NPC is never around" and "the shop won't open" stop being mysteries and become scheduling. Full breakdown on the Timesville walkthrough section.

More Solutions Being Added

The remaining puzzles (the computer interfaces, the Circus, the Offices and gambling area in Chapter 3, and the optional minigames) are being written up as each gets verified against the current Steam build — we publish exact steps only after they're confirmed, rather than guessing. If a specific puzzle is blocking you right now, the chapter walkthrough covers the critical path, and the achievement guide covers the fishing and soccer challenges.
